It's Bill!
I'm a freelance podcast and social media manager helping small businesses, nonprofits, and political groups tell their story.
My name is Bill Duffield. I am a South Jersey native now living in Southwest Pennsylvania. In 2010 I graduated Rowan College of South Jersey (Gloucester County College) with an Associates Degree in Computer Graphic Design. After community college I decided to get my Bachelors Degree in History from Rowan University.

My original plan was to become a History teacher, however, I was inspired by Former President Barack Obama to go into politics. After graduating from Rowan I went on the campaign trail. My first job on a campaign was working for David Trone in Maryland. When that campaign ended, I packed up my things and drove down to Florida to work for Hillary Clinton and the Florida Democratic Party. I spent about 5 years working on campaigns around the country.

Following the 2020 election cycle I decided to take a break from campaign life. I did some consulting for a little while and eventually landed in the nonprofit sector working for The UpCounty Hub in Germantown, MD as the communications director. In this role I was responsible for communications as well as launching their social media profiles.

After spending a few years with The UpCounty Hub I got a job as Digital Marketing Coordinator - Patterns with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. I was part of a new team called the Digital Transformation Initiative. The purpose of the DTI was to improve the digital presence for our partner food banks. In this role I was responsible for launching websites, auditing social media profiles, and other digital needs.

I really enjoyed my work at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, however, after about six months, the long drives were really starting to get to me so I decided to resign to work closer to home. Therefore, I rejoined The UpCounty Hub on a remote basis. In addition to working at The UpCounty Hub I rejoined KO Public Affairs, managing their daily newsletter, Center Maryland, as well as producing their podcast and podcast for clients.

One thing is for sure. I have always been passionate about helping people and making a difference in the community. I am excited to take all this digital experience to the next level and help nonprofits and small businesses grow their digital presence online.
